Cloud Storage
by Minor App Tech
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 14, 2026
Minor App Tech ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Cloud Storage mobile
application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use,
store, and protect your information when you use our App.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and
use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Email address — provided during account registration or by Google when you sign in with Google, used for authentication and password recovery.
- Display name — provided by your Google account when you sign in with Google, or set by you in your profile.
- Files, photos, and videos you upload — any files you choose to upload to the cloud storage service, and the folders you organize them in. These are stored on our servers.
- File metadata — file names, sizes, types, folder structure, and upload dates associated with your uploaded files.
- Purchase history — if you buy a subscription, records of your purchases and subscription status are processed by Google Play Billing and by RevenueCat, our subscription-management service provider. We never see your full payment card details; payments are handled by Google Play.
- Advertising and diagnostics data — on the free plan, the App shows ads served by Google. The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares with Google: your IP address (which may be used to estimate your approximate location), ad and app interactions (such as app launches, taps, and video views), diagnostic information (such as app launch time and performance), and device and account identifiers including the Android advertising ID and app set ID. This is used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Paid plans do not show ads.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide the cloud storage service — storing, retrieving, and managing your files.
- To authenticate your identity and protect your account.
- To send password reset emails when requested.
- To provide and manage subscriptions (unlock Pro/Business features, restore purchases).
- To show ads on the free plan, with your consent where required by law.
- To enforce storage quotas and keep the service reliable and secure.
3. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored on Google's Firebase infrastructure (Firebase Authentication,
Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage), which is part of Google Cloud Platform.
All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, and Google encrypts data at rest
on its servers using AES-256 with keys managed by Google.
Your files and metadata are isolated to your account. Other users cannot access
your data. Access is controlled by Firebase Security Rules that enforce per-user
data isolation.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We do not share your personal data with third parties except:
- Firebase / Google Cloud — our infrastructure provider that processes and stores your data on our behalf. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google (advertising) — on the free plan, the Google Mobile Ads SDK shares the advertising data described in Section 1 (approximate location derived from IP address, ad and app interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers including the advertising ID) with Google for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. See How Google uses information from ads.
- RevenueCat — our subscription-management provider, which processes purchase history on our behalf to manage your subscription. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Files you delete
in the App are moved to Trash and permanently removed after 30 days (or
immediately if you empty the Trash). When you delete your account, the
following data is permanently deleted immediately:
- Your authentication credentials (email and password).
- All files you uploaded to the cloud storage.
- All file metadata (names, sizes, dates).
- All folders and your user profile data.
Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel an active
subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play and must be cancelled in
the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
Account deletion is available within the App (Profile → Delete Account)
and via our web page at
https://cloud-storage-f0662.web.app.
Records that we are required to keep for security, fraud prevention, or legal
compliance (for example, purchase and transaction records processed by Google
Play) may be retained where the law requires it.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — your files and profile are visible within the App at any time.
- Delete your data — you can delete individual files, or delete your entire account and all associated data.
- Export your data — you can download your files from the App at any time.
- Update your credentials — you can reset your password via the Forgot Password feature.
- Manage ads consent — where consent-based ads apply (for example, in the EEA/UK), you can review or withdraw your consent at any time in the App under Profile → Privacy options.
- Reset your advertising ID — you can reset or delete your Android advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that
we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will
take steps to delete such information promptly.
8. Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:
- All network communication is encrypted via HTTPS.
- Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication with secure token management.
- File access is restricted to the authenticated account owner via Firebase Security Rules.
- No sensitive data (passwords, tokens) is stored in plaintext on your device.
While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the
Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:
- Firebase Authentication & Google Sign-In — for user sign-in and account management.
- Firebase Cloud Firestore — for storing file and folder metadata.
- Firebase Storage — for storing uploaded files.
- Firebase Remote Config — for delivering app configuration.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) & Google User Messaging Platform — for showing ads on the free plan and collecting the legally required consent.
- Google Play Billing & RevenueCat — for processing and managing subscriptions.
These services are provided by Google and are subject to
Google's Privacy Policy
and Firebase Terms of Service.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be
reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to
review this page periodically for any changes.
